The Electrician reports to the Chief Electrician and is responsible for the daily running, maintenance and repair of all electrical/electronic installations, machinery automation and DP systems, navigation equipment and communication systems onboard the vessel to ensure the equipment is kept ready for immediate operation. Working closely with the deck engineers to ensure the correct maintenance / fault finding and operation of all deck equipment (permanent and mobile). All our people are expected to contribute to creating and positive health, safety, environment, and quality culture at Subsea7, ensuring familiarity and adherence to policies and practices.
Candidates who have Deck and/or handling Lay Equipment experience are desirable, but not essential. Kindly highlight the relevant experiences on your CV wherever possible. Candidates are expected to join late June or early July.
We are seeking candidates who want to understand the environment in which we operate in and support effective delivery of our offshore projects, building effective and trusting two-way relationships with internal and external stakeholders. You will have a desire to develop yourself, building individual effectiveness and capability to change and deliver.
Applicants will need relevant academic qualifications or evidence of having completed an appropriate apprenticeship or similar compliant with Section A-III/6 of the STCW Code. A knowledge of back deck equipment and mission systems will also be required.
