Subsea 7 is offering an attractive Graduate Quality & Business Improvement Engineer opportunities to recent graduates and or graduates since 2016, who are actively exploring to grow in the Subsea field of the Oil & Gas industry.

Subsea 7 is actively seeking a Graduate to join the Quality Department for Asia Pacific. The function of this role is to identify strategic opportunities to support driving continual improvements and implementation of Subsea 7 Vision & Values.

The Graduate will be a part of a positive culture within Subsea 7 Asia Pacific and hold a supportive/development role within the Quality Function.

  • Under supervision, the Graduate assists the Quality function to produce Quality deliverables and support in maintaining compliance to industry standards and driving improvements within the Asia Pacific Business.
  • The work scope may include supporting audit/assessment, tenders as well as live projects. The Graduate will participate in the off-the-job training, on-the-job development, mentoring and expected self-development.

All personnel are expected to contribute to creating a positive HSEQ & BI culture within Subsea 7 and ensure familiarity with and adherence to local HSEQ codes and practices.

All personnel are also expected to contribute to creating a culture of ethics and integrity within Subsea 7 and ensure familiarity with and adherence to our Code of Conduct.

Key Responsibilities & Activities  

  • Under direct supervision, assists with execution of Quality tasks, which may include (but not limited to):
    • Technical support to WIN & Execute side of the business.
    • Implementation/compliance and alignment of Quality programs, policies, processes and procedures within Subsea 7.
    • Support the audit/assessment programme.
    • Prepare regular management reports.
    • Provide data/presentation materials to management as required.
    • Managing Non-conformances, facilitate root-cause analysis corrective actions (RCCA) process, and ensure effective implementation of solutions to prevent recurrence.
    • Work in conjunction with Supply Chain Management to assess suppliers.
    • Help with the development and implementation of continuous improvements of the Subsea 7 operations.
    • Provides support on the development and maintenance of Business Management System (BMS) within the Region.
    • Utilise the knowledge management tools available to assist Quality team to capitalise from Lessons Learned and to perform in accordance with best practice, striving to mitigate risk, promoting safety and integrity consistently
    • Engage and support cultural change initiatives within the Asia Pacific Business.
    • Makes effort to become proficient of all relevant safety & quality objectives and legal requirements.
    • Participates in meetings/correspondence with Clients, subcontractors, 3rd parties, etc. in a junior capacity.
    • Recognises the objectives for professional development.




  • Graduate in a relevant Engineering or Science degree (Master degree).
  • Must have CGPA score of 3.3 and above.
  • Must have international education or work exposure.
  • Excellent oral, written and presentation skills in English.
  • Must have interest in developing career in Quality in Subsea Engineering business.


  • May have some directly related work experience in either:
    • Health & Safety
    • Environment
    • Quality
    • Engineering
    • Business Improvement/Management
  • An awareness of ISO 9001, 14001 standards.
  • Preferably holding some form of audit qualification
  • Some experience of working within the Subsea, offshore industry or an engineering environment is preferable
  • Team player and be able to support and work within the wider business.
  • Strong Interpersonal skills
