Subsea 7 are currently looking for a Planner to join our Pipeline Production Team based in our Glasgow offices on a full time, staff basis.

The Planner will be part of the PPT Operations Team, within Subsea 7’s Pipeline Group, who are a Service Provider to Subsea 7 and whose mission is to offer consistent and progressive delivery of global rigid pipeline systems, through locally tailored solutions, automation and strategic supply chain partnerships. 

The Pipeline Production Team develop, manage and deploy Pipeline Production capability into all of Subsea 7's Territories and Pipeline Fabrication is critical to Subsea 7’s operations so welding technology, weld inspection and field joint coating are PPT core capabilities.  As well as serving the needs of projects, PPT is also engaged in developing new technologies to advance Subsea 7 capabilities.

Specific Key Responsibilities & Activities

  • Setup and manage schedules for all PPT worksites
  • Support PG Package Managers in managing project schedules, by contributing PPT inputs
  • Management of Welding Development Centre detailed schedule
  • Support tendering function by running scenarios for future work
  • Provide regular schedule updates to PPT management team and identify any areas of concern
  • Provide weekly report on planning activities 

AUTHORITY/DIMENSIONS

  • Operate within the Code of Conduct.
  • Operate according to Subsea 7’s Management Principles.
  • Support standards and procedures for the PPT delivery function.
  • All personnel are expected to contribute to creating a positive HSEQ culture within Subsea 7 and ensure familiarity with and adherence to local HSEQ codes and practices.

PERSON SPECIFICATION

  • Previous experience of running project plans, with specific experience on MS Project and Primavera.
  • Computer literate.
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to work independently
  • Good interpersonal skills.
