We are looking for a highly motivated person with a caring, committed and competitive attitude to fulfil the position of:

Project Controller (m/f)

As a Project Controller you manage the financial accounts of the assigned project(s) in execution and support the Commercial Project Lead and Project Manager as the finance partner. You prepare cost calculations and revised forecasts of the project(s) in execution as well as monitor and report on spending during the execution.

Main areas of responsibilities:

  • Provide day-to-day finance and administrative support to the project team
  • Prepare and review the periodical project financial statements
  • Review the Daily Progress Reports (DPR) and relate those to the project financials
  • Analyse the actual status of the project costs, understand the details and review the progress compared to the budget
  • Monitor the project budget and proactively propose corrective actions in case of deviations and advise the management team accordingly.
  • Follow up on the completion of the contractual milestones together with the Commercial Project Lead and ensure the proper documentation of the milestones achieved
  • Transform various data into clear budgets, cost estimates and cost reports
  • Support the preparation and calculation of variations and claims in coordination with the Commercial Project Lead.

 

Preferred profile:

  • Technical background, University degree or higher professional degree
  • IFRS and local GAAP exposure
  • Commercial awareness
  • Good command of the English language, both written and spoken. Preferably also good command of German
  • High level of computing skills (MS Office suite, especially MS Project and Excel)
  • Social team player who is willing to take responsibility
  • Keen, accurate and analytical with good communication skills
