 Job Title:  Reporting Controller

Reports to: Regional FP&A manager

Location:  Suresnes, France



 We are looking for a Reporting Controller to support the delivery of Subsea7 Africa region financial and management reporting, in accordance with Subsea7 Group policies and external reporting standards.


Specific Key Responsibilities & Activities


  • Participate to the preparation and coordination of both monthly financial forecast process and budget process across the region:
    • prepare process instructions for countries finance leads and management and coordinate regional financial consolidation process.
    • Liaise with projects cost control teams to ensure good understanding of projects forecasts and assess impact on region financial reporting
    • participate to the preparation of monthly financial forecasts for the region with variances analysis, for regional management review


  • Liaise with Group Finance for all financial and management reporting matters
  • Coordinate Group auditors requests for the region
  • France operating costs and overheads :     

         prepare monthly closing and forecast (costs & headcounts)

         presents monthly and quarterly results and reports to functional managers

  • Ensure quality control over regional financial transactions and financial reporting
  • Develop and document business processes and reporting policies to maintain and strengthen internal control framework within the region
  • Assist regional management with the preparation of any ad hoc financial analysis /requests.

 The position requires:

  • Advanced degree in finance or engineering
  • 5 years experience of Financial and Management Accounting processes
  • An experience within the engineering or energy industry would be a plus
  • An experience of 3-4 years in Audit is a plus
  • Good communication skills
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • French and English fluent speaking / writing
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft office. Knowledge of SAP and BOFC is desirable.

 Rigourous, flexible, well organised and proactive with ability to prioritize, the candidate will have strong capabilities to adapt to a challenging and demanding environment.
