i-Tech, a division of Subsea 7 currently has a vacancy for a Warehouse Co-ordinator to join our Europe & Africa and Global Support Team. The Warehouse Co-ordinator will assist the delivery of specific activities within the team. This will include ensuring high quality communication with all internal and external parties and a flexible, high quality and timely service to the Projects and other internal clients is critical, particularly as business priorities can change at short notice. All personnel are expected to contribute to creating a positive HSEQ culture within Subsea 7 and ensure familiarity with and adherence to local HSEQ codes and practices. All personnel are expected to provide leadership in code of Ethics and compliance with FCPA and bribery and corruption acts.

The position directly reports into to the UK Logistics Service Team Lead and responsibilities will include the following:

 

MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist with Goods In, unpack and check goods against documentation.
  • Ensures Goods and items are controlled and processed in accordance with the relevant process map for the function.
  • Assists with the supply and receipt of Materials to projects and the purchasing department for the procurement of Materials for stock.
  • This role Interfaces within the SCM, Services and Products and Engineering functions for guidance on new materials and the supply of internal items for materials demand.
  • Considers health & safety as a priority during the duties being undertaken and provides guidance and support to subordinates in the team.
  • The success of this role depends on good communication with offshore & onshore project teams and the dissemination of useful information.
  • Must be flexible in approach to work, conscientious in the control of documentation and possess the ability to change priorities as and when business or client needs dictates.
  • Controls Inventory Materials and ensures levels are managed correctly to suit business activity and in accordance with Authority Levels
  • Utilises the Materials Management module in SAP to control Inventory materials.
  • May communicate with relevant teams for the creation/amendment and deletion of new Material master records.
  • Assists with annual audits to ensure continued compliance with inventory control
  • Assist with any other duties as defined by UK Logistics Services Team Lead

 

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION:

  • Good level of education
  • Can articulate learning & training experiences
  • Fork Lift License (up to 16 Tonne)

 

SKILLS:

  • Conversant with the use of Microsoft Office applications including Outlook.
  • Strong communicator who works effectively as part of a team. The position will require candidates to interact with people at various levels within the organisation and externally. It is therefore essential that candidates be in possession of good communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrate a proactive and collaborative approach, confidence to use initiative and highly organised & detail orientated individual.
  • Must be flexible in approach to work, conscientious in the control of documentation and possess the ability to change priorities as and when the business needs dictate.

 

EXPERIENCE:

  • Relevant previous experience at an appropriate level working in a materials control role, within the Oil & Gas industry and Logistics.
  • Experience of SAP Materials Management module and in particular the Materials, Requirements
  • Candidates should be able to work without direct supervision and to solve problems using own initiative.
  • A good understanding and comprehensive working knowledge of Logistics co-ordination, warehouse experience, packaging and shipping activities is essential for the role.

 

SPECIFIC JOB RELATED REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must be physically fit for required position subject to reasonable adjustments
  • Location will be Greenwell Base, East Tullos
  • No international travel will be required although there may be a limited requirement for ad-hoc travel nationally.
