Orcaflex Engineer (m/f/d)

The preparation of the submarine cable installation requires intensive work with the Orcaflex software. This software specializes in the design and analysis of various marine concepts.

Main areas of responsibilities:

  • Prepare project specific analyses for the projects and tenders, including:
  • Cable spooling analysis
  • Cable laying analysis
  • Cable Abonnement and recovery analysis
  • Preparation of cable laying tables
  • Subsea deployment analysis
  • Cable Lift and shift analysis

 

Additonally, following Project Engineering tasks can be part of the job:

 

  • Preparing scopes for subcontracts and review and evaluate subcontracts
  • Review, prepare planning for project preparation and execution
  • Operationally assist with project execution preparations/processes
  • Identify and arrange project equipment/materials requirements
  • Prepare and arrange for all administrative tasks on project base, as required
  • Possible participate in offshore jobs as part of the operation team in the function of Field Engineer

 

Preferred profile:

  • BSc/MSc degree with a technical/engineering background;
  • Experience in the marine and offshore industry
  • Experience in engineering, design and Orcaflex;
  • Very good command of the English, both written and spoken.
  • Social team player with hands-on attitude
  • Keen and analytical
