The Middle East (ME) Area Logistic Manager is based in Subsea 7 Sharjah office in UAE and supervises all ME logistics activities related to the movement of material, cargo and equipment in support of the Middle East projects.

This includes managing the logistics between point of receipt of these items, to the various offshore work sites, and the return back onshore/point of origin of these items and/or theirs ancillaries as and when applicable.

The ME Area Logistic Manager is responsible for the correct handling of all logistic and custom activities associated with both permanent and temporary material (including Company free issued items and marine spread) not otherwise covered under the Incoterms integral within the remit of an SCM managed Purchase Order (PO) and contingent upon the Vendor/Supplier of that PO.

The ME Area Logistic Manager is also responsible for the appropriate and safe movement of all personnel that are mobilized/demobilized in each operating country (UAE, KSA, QATAR, OMAN etc.) in support of the Middle East projects.

The ME Area Logistic Manager is responsible for the adequate performance of the logistic teams based in these operating countries and retains the ultimate accountability for the correct implementation of Subsea 7 processes and procedures and compliance to local regulations and laws of each Country.

The ME Areal Logistic Manager is also responsible for the appropriate management of the various project budgets including regular cost forecasting of the activities under his supervision.

The Logistics Manager reports on a day to day basis to the ME Project & Operations Director.


  1. Minimum Diploma holder or equivalent relevant working experience
  2. Ability to perform well under pressure with tight deadline
  3. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and able to relate within a cross cultural management environment
  4. Flexible with regards to ad hoc travel and schedules
