Vacancy information

We are recruiting for Welders for our upcoming projects.

This will be based on a Day Rate contract.

Rotation: 10 weeks on / 5 weeks off OR 8 weeks on / 4 weeks off.


Candidates must have the relevant eligibility to apply visa for Saudi Arabia.


The Welders will be responsible for carrying out offshore structure installation in Saudi Arabia.


Key Requirements:


The welders shall be selected for the qualification according to the following requirements:


  • Must be Authorised / Eligible to apply visa for Saudi Arabia
  • Minimum: Basic oral and written communications skill in English language
  • Experience in Automatic Pipeline welding CS/CRA
  • Offshore structure installation (Jacket) welding experience
  • SMAW welding (2.4mm up to 6mm diameter – basic electrode)
  • Carbon Steel material (Tubular / Plate)
  • CJP Butt welds and TKY connections
  • Welding position: 2G, 5G, 6G & 6GR
  • Familiar with AWS D1.1 welder qualification 6G and 6GR
  • Valid BOSIET – OPITO approved (at least until end of year 2020) and Offshore Medical-OGUK (at least until end of year 2020)
  • Valid HUET certificate
  • Shows commitment to and promotes Subsea7 SQP policy


Key responsibilities:

  • Take responsibility for Safety, Quality and Production
  • Adhere to all Qualified Welding Procedures
  • Shall comply with all applicable Work Site HSE requirements
