Scope of work :


Pipeline Group is a service provider for the engineering of pipelines and associated structures installation. Multiple projects are on execution and several engineers are mobilized on each of them to execute the work.


The trainee will be part of the integrated project team.


Internship Objective :


Specific tasks include:

  • Preparation of installation analysis reports,
  • Assist project in liaison with the lead engineer,
  • Assist in all required Design Reviews to ensure compliance of project engineering work with Engineering Standards, Group Procedures and Policies.


The trainee will interface with all the installation analysis team engineers and will be supervised by the Rigid Pipelines installation analysis lead engineer.


This training course constitutes an opportunity to perform a real and practical engineer work in a real project situation.


Profile :


This subject is proposed to a student in 3rd year of School of Engineering with Mechanical or Civil engineering background.

The student shall demonstrate:

  • Skills or interest in industrial process engineering,
  • Skills and interest on FEA and beam theory,
  • Flexibility,
  • Initiative and personal responsibility,
  • Good written English level expected to write clear and concise deliverables,
  • Motivation to interface with other concerned departments and engineers,
  • Real interest and motivation for a team work.
