The Role

Subsea 7 Australia have been delivering projects for our clients from the North West Shelf to the Bass Strait for 40 years. Subsea 7 is seeking expressions of interest for a 6-month opportunity to support one of our live projects in the role of Senior SCM Coordinator. 

The Senior SCM Co-ordinator will have operational responsibility for a particular, defined, aspect of the Supply Chain function.  This may involve the purchase of goods, services and facilities or at the group level in managing particular commodity groups or reporting and analysis. This role will operate within standardised SCM policies, processes and systems and leverage the systems side to support the provision of relevant and quality metrics. The role will also manage the defined elements of the supply chain process as delegated.  These may include: the full or partial management of procurement, reporting and analysis of local or global information, development and management of particular commodity groups etc.

About You 

  • Degree in a relevant discipline (Engineering or Business) or qualified by experience
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in Offshore Oil&Gas Sector specifically related to SURF, Pipeline and/or Platform Installation
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience with SCM Activities (Vendor Qualification, Subcontract Compilation, Placement and Post Award Management, Frame Agreements, Procedures/Work Instructions, Purchase Orders)
  • A strong knowledge of contracting principles and a successful track record of subcontract negotiation will be highly regarded.
  • Minimum 3 years experience in Asia Pacific
