The Program Manager has accountability for the management of key client interfacing, strategies and development, working in co-ordination with Tendering and Business Development teams.

  • General Key Responsibilities & Activities


    • Effective communication with stakeholders both internal and external
    • Identification of future key projects and strategy for deployment
    • Understand the Subsea 7 technology offerings and develop a strategy for integration into the client’s operations, while coordinating with internal S7 technology stakeholders and other S7 entities
    • Ensure all project interface aspects including liaising with support functions are addressed in a timely and appropriate manner with sufficient detail
    • Delegate tasks to team members, set targets, and ensure those targets are met
    • Primary point of contact for client technology development, and implementation projects, aimed at improving operational efficiencies and reducing operational expenditures
    • Represent client stakeholder interests to internal and external leadership
    • Manage product development budgets and schedules as required
    • Support and drive/escalate the resolution of problems to the satisfaction of the client and Subsea7
    • Ensure lessons learned are performed in accordance with best practice, striving to mitigate risk, promoting safety and integrity consistently


  • Tendering Support Activities


    • Provide input including story boards, operational methodology, explanations of concepts and pricing for both internal and external opportunities
    • Able to demonstrate experience in providing commercial input on market rates for engineered solutions, and standard tooling, that reflect our capabilities and are aligned with the Regional financial strategy
    • Communicate with client to understand their needs, business drivers and respond appropriately to clarifications


  • Business Development Support Activities
    • Present to clients on Global IRM capabilities including business overview, track record examples, and specific technology presentations
    • Engage with operations to expand current contract offerings to Key Client Accounts by leveraging existing relationships
    • Work with internal colleagues to develop useful animations and marketing material of tools and technology in order to use during conferences, client presentations, etc.
    • Liaise with Subsea 7 Account Managers and Global Account Directors to develop an overall account plan and strategy covering Subsea 7 Global IRM, Subsea 7 (SURF) and Seaway 7 (Renewables)



    • Degree or equivalent in an engineering, other technical or commercial discipline
    • Consideration will be given to extensive work experience with qualifications in associated background
    • Strong commercial awareness with the ability to report internally and work effectively with clients
    • Remote Intervention Tooling Engineering and Design
    • Offshore Inspection, Repair and Maintenance (IRM) execution
    • Internal and External client management
