QC Supervisor (Welding/Piping)

Location:- Saudi Arabia

We provide project management, engineering and construction expertise across the full field lifecycle. These services are delivered within three operational business units: Subsea and Conventional, Life of Field, and Renewables and Heavy Lifting.

Within Africa, Middle East & Caspian region (AMEC), we safely execute Subsea and Conventional projects which connect seabed wellhead infrastructures to surface facilities such as platforms and floating production systems. We are actively present in a significant number of countries in Africa, Europe, Caspian Sea, Middle East and Asia.                                             

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Capable of supervising all onshore fabrication & offshore QC activity such as pipelaying, Jacket installation, Deck fabrication, Hook Up, Pre-commissioning, Flexible & Umbilical installation, etc.
  • Experience with clients such as Saudi Aramco and/or Qatar Gas.
  • Preparation & Review of quality construction procedures, PQP, ITP’s & Method Statement in line with Client requirements
  • Planning & Conducting QMS audit as per Audit schedule at different phases of project.
  • Conducting project specific training and job awareness to QC inspector and Project team.
  • Conversant with international code such as AWS D 1.1 / ASME Sec I , V , VIII & IX / API / DNV
  • Conducting readiness review & KOM before start of work.
  • Monitoring day to day QC activities related to yard fabrication.
  • Conducting Quality Assurance Audit at different stages of project completion.
  • Ensuring project Quality requirements are maintained as per Client Quality requirement
  • Supporting Quality function to meet KPIs.

PROFILE – QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND BEHAVIOURS 

  • BE in Mechanical / Production or High school diploma
  • Minimum 15 years of experience in same field
  • Certified CSWIP 3.1  / 3.2 or AWS
  • Passed an internationally accredited (i.e., IRCA or ASQ) Quality Auditor training course and examination, or approved equivalent, for the 2015 version of ISO 9001.
  • NDT Level II in UT/RT/MT/PT   
  • Demonstrated mastery of ISO 9001 QMS requirements, engineering and design documents, engineering standards, specifications, construction methods and QC inspection and test procedures
  • Three (3) or more years of direct work experience in QC supervision of capital project construction & Pre-Commissioning quality related to the engineering discipline and scope of WORK (e.g., industrial oil and gas production or petrochemical projects).
  • Saudi Armco approved QC supervisor with CBT passed in welding / piping / coating will be an added advantage
