Title: Project Operations Manager

We are looking for a Project Operations Manager to join our team at our office in Aberdeen – UK on a staff basis.
The Project Operations Manager (POM) is responsible for the safe and efficient execution of overall project operations, in accordance with planning constraints, associated cost envelope and project quality requirements.
The POM is responsible for the co-ordination of the entire marine spread and all offshore and onshore operations during the execution of Projects.
What will you be doing?
The Project Operations Manager role is ideal for those interested in working across functions and supporting projects in the field. It gives exposure to technical and practical aspects of the work during execution, and greater involvement to the commercial side by budget definition and management in projects, with strategic thinking during tenders and support to business development.
The ideal candidate thrives interacting with various disciplines, departments and regions across Seaway7 organization and with clients, subcontractors and external organizations (local authorities, certifications bodies, etc.) and is keen to mentor junior engineers.
Operations Planning: Asset and mission equipment selection, support to chartering, logistics and material warehousing. Liaising with SCM on subcontract agreement defined scopes.
Campaign Readiness: Engage stakeholders both internally and externally and manage the readiness process to ensure people, plant, procedures are aligned and ensure effective operations.
Planning, budget and coordination: Establish base line schedule with continual updates and optimisation. Cost tracking and monitoring
HSE: Arrange Risk Assessment review meetings with stake holders. Demonstrate a commitment to HSE and promote safe practices.
Operations: Sequencing of offshore operations and support vessels with daily connection to project management on requirements, progress and client liaison.W

- Possess extensive experience in offshore operations, having worked onboard installation vessels.
- Skilled in the co-ordination of multiple interfaces across functions.
- Experience working in highly changeable environments, meeting tight deadlines whilst delivering high quality outcomes.
- Committed to collaborative working in a multi-location team environment.
