Title: Quality Advisor

What will you be doing?
Responsible for managing and monitoring all Quality activities across assigned project work packages, ensuring compliance, performance, and continuous improvement throughout the project lifecycle.
General Responsibilities
- Manage and monitor Quality activities and performance across assigned work packages.
- Develop and implement the Project Quality Plan.
- Provide Quality support to the Project Quality Lead and wider team.
- Apply PDCA (Plan-Do-Check-Act) methodology.
- Oversee supplier evaluation, management, and delivery assurance.
- Coordinate Quality Control (QC) including budget tracking, resource forecasting, and performance.
- Lead Lessons Learned and Knowledge Management initiatives.
- Deliver audit programmes and share lessons learned throughout the project lifecycle.
Tendering Phase
- Review Quality risks and opportunities in tender scopes.
- Support development of Quality resource plans.
- Perform procurement criticality assessments.
- Review Employer Quality Requirements and early design deliverables.
- Prepare tender Quality documentation (e.g., Q Plan).
Project Start-Up
- Review tender data including contracts, risks, and QC budget.
- Define Quality objectives, KPIs, and audit strategies.
- Develop Master Document Register (MDR) deliverables.
- Finalise procurement criticality assessments and QC inspection strategy.
- Deliver Quality training (e.g., BMS, Synergi, Non-Conformance).
Project Execution
- Review internal and third-party engineering documents.
- Liaise with technical authorities (e.g., Welding, NDT, Coatings).
- Support interface management and change control processes.
- Track QC inspection spend and manage inspection resources.
- Support supplier quality performance and review ITPs.
- Manage Quality performance data incl. audit, non-conformance, root cause analysis, key performance indicators and objectives for assigned work packages.
- Contribute to SCM processes and risk mitigation.
- Represent Quality in project/client meetings and reporting.
- Promote Quality awareness and mentor project teams.
- Support site teams (onshore/offshore) and handover processes.
- Verify quality outputs for technical acceptance and warranty provision.
Project Close-Out
- Facilitate As-Built package delivery and final completion documentation.
- Support punchlist close-out and lessons learned reviews.
What experience would we like you to have?
- Quality Professional - Projects and Operations Experience
- Further education qualification or equivalent experience.
- Working knowledge of Quality Standards: ISO 9000 Series, ISO 10005, BE EN 102004
- EPCI projects background and knowledge and understanding of the Quality discipline within the Renewables / Oil and Gas Sector
- Working knowledge in Contractual Mechanisms, Legislation and Standards as relevant to the UK Renewables / Oil and Gas Industry
- Proficient in organizing tasks, communicating effectively, utilizing technology, and crafting reports
- Capable of presentation and discussion up to Senior Management Level
- Qualified and experienced Auditor or Lead Auditor perfered
- Demonstrated experience in conducting incident investigations
- Capable of addressing challenges with a logical and thorough working methodology
