Our Seaway7 Graduate programme is now open for applications for our Aberdeen office.
Seaway7 has an exciting opportunity for a graduate level candidate interested in Planning. This is a full time, staff role, based in either our Aberdeen, Scotland office.
Our Graduate Development Programme
- Launch a rewarding career in renewable energy, addressing some of the globe’s largest offshore wind projects. Applicants will be required to start their journey with us in August 2026.
- Our Aberdeen office is key to our endeavours, providing extensive experience on our offshore wind projects
- Our programme typcially takes two years to complete, and this is just the beginning of your career at Seaway7. Begin this transformative journey with us in August 2026. During the first two years, you will rotate across our Planning, Contract Management & Commercial functions. This will provide exposure across a wide range of planning activities through a mix of formal training sessions, on-the-job development, mentoring, and personal development.
What will you be doing?
On-the-job development
• Through on-the-job training you will develop key capabilities related to Planning through rotations in different functions
• You will participate in a wide range of activities including:
• Following your mentor on the Project or Tender they are involved in supporting day to day project requirements, claim events.
• Working with Supply Chain colleagues reviewing, negotiating and placing supplier contracts.
• Working with Legal colleagues to understand the inner workings of the company’s legal obligations.
• During this time, you will become proficient in our systems and gain experience in wider business processes
• You will participate in project tasks to challenge your presentation and team building skills and network with Seaway7 Engineering graduates including the opportunity to participate in the global off-sites
Training courses
• This is organised to provide the opportunity to gain deeper insights into some of the key aspects related to Planning and Project Support functions
• Training in the work that Seaway7 performs from the managers of each department
Mentoring
• You will be assigned a mentor who will provide guidance and support your progression. The mentor will maintain regular contact with you providing direction to ensure you achieve targets and goals

• Degree qualified in one of the following areas:
o Quantity Surveying
o Business Management
o Engineering
• Good IT skills with the ability to work with Excel, Word, and PowerPoint in particular
• A great collaborator, able to work effectively as part of a large team
• Problem solver, anticipating and finding effective solutions to tasks
• Great attention to detail, with the ability to effectively plan and prioritise workloads to meet tight deadlines
• Has an ability to deal with complex logic
The Next Steps
Our selection process is designed to be fair and inclusive. First, we’ll review applications against the essential job criteria.
