What will you be doing?

 

We are looking for a Senior Subcontracts Engineer/Specialist to join our team at our Aberdeen , Oslo or Zoetermeer office on a full time, staff or contractor basis.

 

The role reports to the SCM Manager UK & Asia.

 

Join our Seaway7 Supply Chain Management Department, a team of over 70 professionals working on major offshore wind projects worldwide. As a Senior Subcontracts Engineer/Specialist, you will be working in a project team and be responsible for defining the best solutions to deliver major subcontracted packages worth millions of dollars each.

 

In the SCM Project & Tender Group, you will handle offshore wind tenders and projects, ensuring that the required products and services are available on budget, on time, and meet our standards. You will work with our category management and procurement teams to meet all project needs, including vessel chartering, foundations fabrication and transport, subsea power cables manufacturing, Subsea Rock Installation, trenching services etc.

 

We are open to a variety of profiles and backgrounds and are looking for technical / commercial / contractual experienced professionals.

  • Proficient in both verbal and written communication and negotiation strategies
  • Exhibiting a strong understanding of market dynamics
  • High degree of diligence during day-to-day business
  • Minimum 5 years relevant working experience
