Title: Associate Project Planner

Seaway7 are looking for an Associate Project Planner to join our team at our Zoetermeer, Netherlands office on a full-time staff basis.
As an Associate Project Planner, you will be supporting our tenders and the delivery of our global projects by making tender and project schedules for the development of offshore wind farms. Our projects range from laying cables to installation of foundations and wind turbines with our modern fleet of vessels. In addition, our projects are multi-disciplinary consisting of engineering, procurement, and manufacturing whereby the planning one of the primary tools is to control our projects. Historical vessels records are maintained by the planning discipline and together with the technical know-how as a Planner you have a major responsibility in establishing the offshore installation schedules of Seaway's installation vessels.
Besides to being part of one of the project or tender teams, you are also part of the Planning Team within the Contracts and Project Control department. Our Planning Team consists of 7 planners and a planning manager, who have been working for Seaway7 between 1 and 12 years and who are working in our offices in Zoetermeer (Netherlands), Leer (Germany) and Oslo (Norway). The atmosphere within the various teams is informal and friendly and colleagues are always ready to support each other.
What will you be doing?
- Preparing schedules for our tenders and projects
- Proactively identify schedule risks and opportunities and engage with relevant stakeholders
- Preparing planning related reports such as narratives and dashboards to support project performance measurements
- Preparing planned versus as-built, hindcasting, lessons learnt
- Support department improvement initiatives and creating standards
- Furthermore, planners are representing Seaway 7 with planning related matters to clients and subcontractors
- Travel to our vessels during the offshore execution and visit our various offices in other countries
- Any ad-hoc activities as required

- Minimum a bachelor's degree in a technical direction (BSc.), for example Industrial Engineering, Maritime Technology, Civil Engineering
- Between 2 to 6 years of planning experience
- Experience with planning software Primavera P6
- Skills in all Microsoft Office applications (especially Excel)
- Affinity with Power Pivot and PowerBI are advantageous
- A team player with an innovative, and positive attitude
- Good communication skills in English, both written and verbal
