Title: Technology Project Lead (Research & Development)

We are looking for a Technology Project Lead (R&D) with a keen interest for innovation to join the team at our Zoetermeer office on a staff basis.

The Technology Project Lead will drive technological advancements (in particular within the fields of Scour Protection and Noise Mitigation) in line with the Technology group strategy.
What you will be doing?
- Coordinate a Technology Development (TD) Project, optimizing resource allocation across disciplines (Engineering, Supply Chain, S&M, IP, Legal, etc.).
- Conduct technical reviews and bibliographic research for preliminary studies.
- Collaborate with experts to advance technical development, validate concepts, and organize engineering reviews.
- Engage stakeholders to evaluate commercial aspects, communicate with suppliers, and develop the business case.
- Create TD Project deliverables (technical reports, support for Purchase Orders, IP documents) following project management rules and company procedures.
- Provide input and financial forecasts for the Project Monthly Report (PMR).
- Develop the TD Project roadmap and budget.
- Prepare funding dossiers with internal and external support.
- Represent the company at client or supplier meetings and seminars.
- Update senior management on the TD Project through regular meetings and presentations.
- Communicate and share with the Technology Community within Seaway7 and Subsea7.
- Contribute to define the Technology Development Program.

- Engineering Degree (Mechanical, Civil, Geotech or similar)
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in Engineering for offshore industry.
- Curiosity, willingness to consider different viewpoints.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills in English language.
- Bring together various stakeholders and teams (internal and external) to enhance work performance.
- Commercial awareness or interest to learn/develop.
- Knowledge on Scouring or Noise/acoustics for offshore windfarm market is beneficial but not essential.
- Ability to work within time and budget constraints.
