Seaway 7 

Seaway 7 is a global leader in the delivery of bottom-fixed offshore wind farm solutions, committed to contributing to an efficient and sustainable energy supply for the future.  As a competent and experienced partner, Seaway 7 offers specialist foundation, offshore substation, submarine cable and wind turbine installation services and heavy transportation for the renewables sector.

With capabilities and an extensive expertise in project management, engineering, procurement and fabrication, Seaway 7 can deliver these services in a comprehensive array of contractual structures including Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Installation (EPCI), (integrated) Transportation & Installation (T&I) and Balance of Plant (BoP) to our clients in the offshore wind industry.

The active fleet comprises ten vessels with two more high-specification assets, designed for the installation of next generation of wind turbine generators and foundations, under construction.

Planning Engineer (m/f/d)

The Planning Engineer is part of the Commercial Department (WIN Team) and is responsible for implementing, managing and maintaining project schedules for multiple engineering and construction projects, from tender phase through the life cycle of the projects. 

Position overview:

  • Responsible for all planning works associated with detailed schedules on the basis of Work Breakdown Structure
  • Responsible for project planning and scheduling, monitoring, updating and quality review
  • Contribute to planning strategy regarding to project needs and client requirements
  • Provide guidance and consultation for Project Managers 
  • Provide monthly reporting of the work progress to the management, the project team and the customer.

  • Operate within the Business Code of Conduct
  • Operate according to Subsea 7's Management Principles
  • Support standards and procedures for the relevant Function

Key qualifications/experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related areas.
  • 2-4 years professional experience in project planning
  • Fully conversant in English verbally and in writing is a requirement, German as preference
  • Strong computer skills including Primavera P6, MS Project, Excel and affiliate software.
  • Exceptional analytical skills to effectively evaluate project performance 
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
