GPC (Global Projects Centre) & AP (Asia Pacific) region vision is to Lead the way in the delivery of offshore projects and services for the energy industry. Everything we do supports our SURF and Conventional, Life of Field and Renewables and Heavy Lift business units, that deliver projects and services offshore to our clients. 

 

DESCRIPTION OF ROLE

The GPC & AP Quality Advisor provides guidance and advice in regard to the effective management of quality assurance and quality control; delivering quality management and improvement support to all projects and Functions within the designated area of responsibility.  

The Quality Advisor is responsible for the effective monitoring, assessment and follow-up of project and supplier quality performance.

 

The Quality Advisor is expected to undertake an active and visible role in the day to day oversight of our safety performance, and to ensure our Safety Value is delivered consistently throughout GPC & AP Region.

All personnel are expected to contribute to creating a positive HSEQ culture within Subsea 7 and ensure familiarity with and adherence to local HSEQ codes and practices.

 

POSITION OVERVIEW

Generic Key Responsibilities & Activities: 

  • Contributes to the strategy, direction of GPC & AP HSEQ Function as a whole.
  • Ensure compliance with all Quality policies, process and procedures.
  • Provide quality business partnering and advice to the Local HSEQ team and other key stakeholders.
  • Support the development, maintenance and refinement of Local quality programmes and policies
  • Support business improvement such that it is active in every part of Subsea 7's business
  • Assist and advise project personnel in all matters relating to the application and implementation of the company management system on projects, ensuring appropriate levels of quality surveillance, inspection and control with applicable areas of project execution and delivery
  • Utilise the knowledge management tools available to assist Quality to capitalise from Lessons Learned and to perform in accordance with best practice, striving to mitigate risk, promoting safety and integrity consistently
  • Ensure the quality function capitalises from lessons learned and is performed in accordance with best practice, striving to mitigate risk, promoting safety and integrity consistently.
  • Develops and fosters a constructive and professional relationship with all stakeholders.

 

KEY QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE     

  • Experience of the subsea, offshore or a related industry.
  • Broad depth of Quality Management knowledge.
  • Good level of general education required, preferably support by a diploma/degree in Engineering/Quality Management.
  • Broad understanding of Subsea products and operations.
  • Technical quality experience.

Professional qualifications - Degree qualified in Quality Management or equivalent.

  • Auditing and Quality Management qualification.
