We are looking for Senior Flow Assurance Engineer to be based in Sutton office.
MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Strong knowledge of multiphase flow & heat transfer
- Perform hydraulic analyses for oil, gas condensate & gas lines (Steady State & Transient Analysis)
- CFD experience, able to perform CFD 3D model with minor supervision
- Perform detailed thermal analyses to validate thermal performance of flowlines, jumpers, subsea structures (FEA/CFD)
- Preparation of design reports & operating philosophies
- Provide support to Tenders: ITT review, clarifications, qualifications, bid comparisons
- Develop standard tools and spreadsheet to improve ways of working and facilitate technology implementation and cross-fertilization of other functions/disciplines
- Knowledge in key areas of discipline engineering, including design codes, legislative requirements and current good engineering practice
- Understand client needs, identify and address design parameters and issues, develop and implement solutions
- Perform under limited supervision, independently evaluate, organize and prioritize work
- Ensure all relevant safety objectives and legal requirements are observed
- Be involved in R&D program
- Train/mentor junior engineers when needed
- Using multiphase simulators (PIPESIM, OLGA, FlowMaster…)
- Using fluid characteristics simulators (Multiflash, PVTSim)
- Using CFD/FEA simulators (Fluent, Star CCM+)
QUALIFICATION & EDUCATION
- Engineer or Scientist with experience in fluid mechanical / Energy
SKILLS
Essential simulator experience:
- Using multiphase simulators (PIPESIM, OLGA, FlowMaster…)
- Using fluid characteristics simulators (Multiflash, PVTSim)
- Using CFD/FEA simulators (Fluent, Star CCM+)

- Ability to communicate at all levels

EXPERIENCE
sufficient experience in previous field of Process Engineer/Flow Assurance position is desirable
Knowledge:
- CFD experience, able to perform CFD 3D model with minor supervision
- Strong knowledge of multiphase flow & heat transfer is essential
- Knowledge of Subsea system operations and interfaces would be highly desirable
- Knowledge of insulation material and coating would be desirable
- Knowledge of Oil & Gas Code & Standard (API, DNV…) would be desirable
- Knowledge in VBA / Python programming skills would be desirable
- Knowledge in electricity for purely resistive systems would be desirable
