POSITION OVERVIEW

Subsea 7 is developing a number of Engineering digitalisation initiatives that will bring significant long-term value and benefits to the company. These improvements will be realised through changing and optimising the technical delivery of our Projects with the application of new systems and tools.

As part of this programme we are looking to engage a Communications Advisor  based out of our Sutton office. The Communications Lead will be responsible for all programme communications and engagement events, both Internal and External.

 

Role & Responsibilities

The Communications Advisor will undertake all aspects of communications within the Digitalisation and Transformation Programmes of Subsea 7 and will be responsible for:

  • Ensuring a Core Communications pack is maintained for each project and ensuring all other project communications are aligned and controlled.
  • Reviewing stakeholder groups for all projects and the programme, understanding synergies across projects.
  • Support tailored communications to the various stakeholder groups aligned to Communications Plans, ensuring consistent look/feel and reinforcement of key messages.
  • Identifying risks and issues with risk mitigation actions.
  • Create/implement feedback mechanisms to ensure the content and form of our communications and engagements are meeting business and programme needs.
  • Own all internal and external communication material, supporting all requested events.
  • Work to ensure all material is consistent and as engaging and emotionally appealing as possible.

PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATION / EXPEREINCE

  • Experience of and knowledge of communication principles, methodologies and tools and their application. To include web design and social media.
  • Experience of digitalisation programmes, digital technology and transformation / change programmes.
