POSITION OVERVIEW
Seaway 7 has an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Logistics & Customs Coordinator to join the team on a full time basis. This position will be based out of our Zoetermeer office and is open to both staff and contract applications.
The Assistant Logistics & Customs Coordinator advises and coordinates logistics of equipment-related operations.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Tracking, storage and handling of SHL equipment.
- Advises, plans and coordinates on worldwide transport and shipping of equipment to and from SHL marine spread.
- Coordinates and liaises with local authorities with regard to any customs requirements.
- Ensures timely delivery of equipment in accordance with the project commitment plan.
- Advises with regard to logistics and customs.
- Ensures control of direct and indirect costs.
- Contributes to future development of department and cooperation of department with other departments within SHL.
PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Business Administration, Maritime or similar
- Cargadoor 1 and 2
- Experience with managing sub-contractors
- Experience with budgeting and reporting
- Experience in customs and logistics
- Trained as Customs Agent / Declarant
- Trained with regards to International Maritime Dangerous Goods
- Several years’ experience within logistics
- Several years’ experience within the Offshore Renewables Industry
