Seaway 7 is seeking to hire a fulltime HR Business Partner in Aberdeen. This is a permanent position and reports into the HR Director of Seaway 7.

This role advises/ supports the Seaway 7 UK based Management, personnel and commercial international EPC projects pro-actively with regards to HR related topics and independently works on (corporate and business unit) HR projects.

 KEY RESPONSIBILTIES:

  • Assists in the delivery of an efficient, timely and accurate Human Resources services to managers and employees
  • Proactively act as a subject matter expert on all aspects of international assignments, ensure full tax, social security and immigration compliance for all assignees, employees and management.
  • Provides advice and guidance on the application of HR policies and procedures, for example supporting disciplinary, grievance and absence processes, ensuring that procedures are followed
  • Co-ordinates the day-to-day aspects of recruitment and selection process in alignment with budgets
  • Assists with the implementation and development of initiatives which promote and develop constructive Employee Relations within the organisation and between other Subsea 7 business units
  • Coordinates HR processes in conjunction with local HR Employee Services, payroll etc, with a focus on accuracy and efficiency
  • Ensures the Performance Management Review is embedded and that any training needs are documented and actioned by the Learning and Development team
  • Participates in the implementation of any global HR initiatives such as Compensation and Benefits, Staffing, HR Policy and Process developments as applicable
  • Undertakes any other ad hoc projects as required by the business and directed by the HR Director
  • Keeps abreast of trends, developments and issues related to people management
  • Produces HR metrics and analysis HR data on monthly basis to identify trends and suggests appropriate interventions as necessary. For example, sickness absence ratio, diversity statistics, headcount.

 

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • Minimum Bachelor level in Human Resources Management
  • Formally certified - CIPD or equivalent, where appropriate
  • Relevant previous HR experience at a senior level, providing HR advice to management and employees (Essential)
  • Good understanding of Human Resources Information Systems particularly SAP.
  • Experience of international HR preferred
  • Experience of change programmes
  • Good understanding of UK HR related laws & regulations is preferred.
  • Good knowledge of oral and written English.

LOCATION: Aberdeen

  • Seaway 7 has offices in other locations and occasional travel to those locations will be part of the role.
