POSITION OVERVIEW

Seaway 7 has an exciting opportunity for an Operations Engineer on a full time, permanent basis. This position is to be based out of our Zoetermeer office.

The Operation Engineer is responsible for market research on operations scope for forthcoming tenders that are allocated to their responsibility.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Liaise with the Proposals Department regarding upcoming requests for information on operations scope.
  • Market research for forth coming tenders / new markets in operations scope.
  • Maintain contact with subcontractors towards early subcontract involvement.
  • Liaise with the Procurement Department regarding services on operations scope required for upcoming projects.
  • Document and maintain information file for tender input as per project/project type/geographical area.
  • Assist Operations Department in all aspects required and requested by Operations Director.
  • Carry out other department related tasks when required by management.

PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum bachelor level education in a relevant subject area.
  • Several years’ experience in a similar role.

PERSON SPECIFICATION

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, builds and maintains strong internal/external business relationships at all levels.
  • Good command of verbal and written English.
  • Proficient in the use of IT applications including MS Office Suite.
  • Adaptable and pro-active with a structured and methodical approach to tasks, with ability to deliver under pressure.
  • Strong ability to take initiative.
  • High level of professional integrity.
