Subsea 7 needs to increase the engineering capacity with focus on design and is looking for experienced engineers to be part of the Subsea Structures Team based in the Stavanger office.

Key responsibilities:

• Design and modelling of steel- & GRP structures with corresponding piping layouts, using 3D Inventor software
• Cooperate and liaise with relevant stakeholders
• Be responsible for maintaining design progress and acquire necessary interface information
• Familiarize with company and clients’ standards/procedures
• Prepare conceptual sketches and design drawings
• Provide support to fabrication activities

Qualifications:

• Msc or Bsc in Civil- or mechanical engineering (long experience in the industry will also be evaluated)
• Minimum 2 years of experience from structural design
• Preferable with experience from offshore or civil industry
• Preferable with knowledge in commonly used design standards
• Experience from the use of Inventor software or similar
