Subsea 7 needs to increase the engineering capacity with focus on Subsea Structures and is looking for experienced engineers to be part of the Subsea Structures Team based in the Stavanger office.

Key responsibilities:

• Perform design, analysis and/or calculation of permanent subsea structures such as PLETs, PLEMs, Riser bases, SSIVs, Tees & Protection Structures. This will also include preparation of structure and piping design reports
• Liaise with the relevant stakeholders e.g. pipeline design-, installation- and fabrication discipline
• Prepare specifications/design premises for design of permanent structures
• Prepare cost estimates and material take-offs for studies and tenders

Qualifications:

• The candidates shall have a relevant engineering degree (Msc- or Bsc degree)
• Possess strong technical knowledge within design of subsea structures
• Minimum 2 years of experience
• Relevant software experience (e.g. STAAD, ANSYS and AutoPipe)
• Experienced with design according to the relevant standards: NORSOK, DNV, Eurocode, ISO and ASME
