Subsea 7 currently has a requirement for a Recruiter to join their Global Projects Centre & Asia Pacific region, based in either the London or Paris office. This is for a 6 month contract duration.

MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Attend recruitment briefing meetings with Managers and HR Business Partners
  • Arrange advertisement of all positions through appropriate medium, including company website, job boards and social networks
  • Screening of applicants details against job requirements and conduct competency based interviewing where applicable
  • Coordinating and arranging interviews
  • Ensures Line Managers are informed on a regular basis on the recruitment process of temporary / permanent staff.
  • Tracks and monitors current market trends and reports and escalate areas of concern with regards to labour shortages and wage movements.
  • Takes responsibility for ensuring that recruitment system is updated regularly and that workflow activities associated with the recruitment process are auctioned in a timely manner.
  • Builds and maintains effective relationships with relevant departments, stakeholders to ensure recruitment process and selection is continuously driven and delivered
  • Ensures that recruitment channels promote diverse sourcing selection and that processes are free of bias and that selection decisions are based upon objective assessment criteria
  • Actively monitors the candidate application process to ensure the successful hire of best candidates to meet identified recruitment requirements for the business.
  • Produce the weekly vacancy status report and distribute to Senior Management and take necessary actions to assure timely and efficient vacancy management.

  • Well established organisational skills with the ability to manage conflicting and changing priorities (Essential).
  • Ability to build strong relationships both internally and externally is essential Good communicator with ability to interface comfortable across different levels of the organisation (Essential).
  • Demonstrates a good level of initiative with the ability to identify and highlight potential issues in advance of problems arising.
  • Proactive, flexible in approach and customer focussed
  • Ability to manage and prioritise own workload  (Essential)

Experience & Background

  • Language skills: Whether London or Paris based, both English and French language would be beneficial for this role
  • Prior experience within a recruitment role, preferably as an in-house recruitment role (Essential)
  • Experience of dealing with high volume and fast paced recruitment requirements (Essential)
  • Knowledge of best practice resourcing activities and processes (Essential)
  • Good IT skills particular MS365 inc. Teams, Yammer, and SharePoint
  • Office and experience of using candidate management software / systems (Essential)
  • A specific Recruitment or HR Qualification  (Desirable)
