The Communication Advisor is part of the Communications Team and supports the development and implementation of Seaway 7’s communications strategy.
It’s an exciting time to be building the brand of Seaway 7 both internally and externally. This person will play a key role in the development of the communications plans, working with the Communications Manager as well as other key stakeholders in the business.
Key responsibilities:
External
- Management and effective communication of, and compliance to, Seaway 7’s brand guidelines
- Creation and management of Seaway 7 communications content (in compliance with approval process) – including writing and editing articles and press releases, developing presentation material, managing visual content
- Develop and implement social media content plan
- Manage updates to Seaway7.com website
- Support development of external marketing strategy
- Deliver specific marketing and advertising plans aligned with the strategy
- Support implementation of media relations plan including production of press releases and stock market announcements, in consultation with Investor Relations
- Support Seaway 7 participation at selected conferences/events
- Responsible for producing and editing Seaway 7 publications (internal and external)
- Work with Sales team to bring new materials to production
- Create and maintain inventory of on and offline branded materials
Internal
- Support development of internal communications strategy
- Deliver specific internal communications plans in line with the strategy
- Coordinate and engage with management and HR to drive internal communications messaging (e.g. organise town hall meetings, manage the intranet and SharePoint)
- Brand management – ensure communications activities consistently adhere to employer brand guidelines
- Support Seaway 7 leadership team in preparation of internal and external high-level presentation material and content
Other
- Provide communications advice and support to Seaway 7 functions including guidance, development of materials and campaigns
- Maintain good organisation in Communications Team administration tasks
- Member of emergency response team
- Occasional travel may be required

- Fluent in verbal and written English
- Excellent communications skills – written and verbal
- Ability to tailor communications to diverse audiences
- Creative, flexible and adaptable to suit nature of working in communications environment
- Ability to work autonomously, and to work effectively as part of the communications team
- Ability to work both strategically and operationally
- Strong planning skills to manage multiple stakeholders and concurrent projects
- Good understanding of the renewables market
