We have available a permanent position as Senior Mechanical/Hydraulic Technician at our Dusavik base in Stavanger, Norway. This is an onshore position.

OVERVIEW OF ROLE

Subsea 7 is looking for an experienced mechanical/ hydraulic technician for maintenance of the internal owned equipment. Optimal background would be “Automasjons- mekaniker fagbrev” to be able working multi discipline, but other trade certificates is also  . The equipment being maintained are a wide range spanning from hydraulic subsea tooling, hydraulic winches, deck cranes, tensioners, lay system, carousels etc. Maintenance is mainly performed on site Dusavik base, indoor and outdoor. 

Key responsibilities:

  • Maintenance of Subsea 7’s equipment to a high standard and quality.
  • Reporting of performed maintenance.

Qualifications:

  • 10-15 years experience working with mechanical/electrical systems and fault finding on mechanical/electrical/hydraulic systems
  • Good knowledge of reading and understanding hydraulic flow diagrams
  • The candidate should hold one of the following certificates (fagbrev): automasjonsmekaniker, industrimekaniker, landbruksmekaniker or similar.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft office. Experience using SAP and TM master is an advantage but not mandatory, as on the job training will be given.
  • Good communications skills in both Norwegian and English
  • Fork lift and overhead crane certificate is an advantage
