Job Title: Regional Learning Specialist (AMEC region)

As we expand and develop new learning initiatives within AMEC region (Africa, Middle East and Caspian Sea), we are looking for a new team member to join our AMEC HR team.

Our support offices are based in Europe and Asia (Portugal, France and Singapore), with operations across several African countries, Middle East and Caspian Sea.

 

The position of Learning Specialist will be based in Portugal (Lisbon office) and will report to AMEC Senior Learning Specialist, supporting the team to drive the future of Learning within our regional business unit.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support end-to-end launch of regional learning campaigns & programmes in learning, succession and performance connected to the employee life cycle
  • Support with the regional engagement and improvements within our LMS (promote user experience) for employees, managers and HR community
  • Provide regional support for system updates and new learning launches implemented globally
  • Supports the assessment of training and development needs and creates, organizes, plans and presents various forms of local onboarding, orientation and skills trainings for employees
  • Supports the delivery of trainings, through various forms and formats (manuals, guides, course materials, surveys, focus groups, etc.)
  • Produces training materials for in-house courses as required (local and regional), including classroom sessions, webinars, e-learnings and workshops
  • Work with AMEC business SME’s to support the development and implementation of new learning practices and programmes
  • Produces and report L&D metrics to support regional programmes and processes
  • Follow-up with AMEC counties regarding employees’ mandatory training completion in line with Subsea 7 policies
  • Supports and collaborates when required in providing HR data for tenders and clarification on bids

PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE

  • Degree in Human Resources Development or similar
  • Proven Learning and Development Experience (up to 3 to 4 years), preferably in a multinational environment
  • Proficiency in English (mandatory)
  • Good LMS experience (Cornerstone desirable)
  • Experience working with external training providers (desirable)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ethics and cultural awareness
  • Detail-oriented, resourceful and with a creative, problem-solving mindset
  • Comfortable handling both high level/strategical tasks and administrative/operational tasks when required
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Passion for Digital Learning and good knowledge of eLearning design methodology
