People are central to our success and we are committed to training and developing our people. We are looking for one graduate to join our GPC & AP planning team with immediate start in our Kuala Lumpur office (Malaysia).
The Graduate Position proposed is a 2 years programme, enabling the candidate to gain experience of Subsea 7's planning aspects, providing an overview of our various key departments: Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Projects & Operations & Sales & Marketing. After completion of the porgramme, the graduate will take the role of regular planner.
There are four main elements:
Through on-the-job training you will develop key capabilities related to the planning engineer role. The role of the planning team is to establish a robust execution plan, monitor & report progress performance, prepare scenarios and provide look-ahead/trend to early alert any risk or deviation. This requires a good level of communication with the full project team for uptodate inputs and coordination, a good understanding of the technical subjects, our process & tools, our products, our offshore operations.
This is organised between Global Projects Centre (GPC) & AP locations, including London and Paris and provides the opportunity to gain deeper insights of some key aspects related to Commercial and Project Support functions.
You will be assigned a mentor who will provide guidance and support your progression. The mentor will maintain regular contact with you providing direction to help you achieve targets and goals.
Successful candidates will be based in Kuala Lumpur.
You will participate in project tasks to challenge your presentation and team building skills, and network with other Subsea 7 Commercial Graduates hired in different locations.
