We have a vacant position in our HSE Department for an HSE Graduate, located in Stavanger. This role is a perfect stepping-stone to becoming a HSE Advisor, ideally suited to a candidate with an HSE, or similar, degree who wishes to start a career and professional development in a supportive environment. We are looking for a newly graduated candidate with up to 2 years work experience. As a HSE Graduate you get the chance to be a part of a graduate network. 

 

Key responsibilities:

  • Align Project HSE documents, objectives and reporting with Company requirements
  • Support Project leadership in implementing the HSE management system
  • Assist with co-ordination, preparation and delivery of the Project HSE Plan, Project HSE Activity Plan, HSE Bridging documents, Emergency Response analyses and Emergency Notification Flowcharts
  • Assure chemical management fully implemented in project, COSSH assessment included
  • Ensure Subsea 7 HSE Risk Management Processes requirements are thoroughly communication to all Project members and applied to all project activities
  • Assist in supervising, coordinating and monitoring HSE performance in projects and propose mitigating actions where seen required
  • Monitor the quality of incident reporting/investigation by being active and assisting in verifying the investigation status and documentation
  • Ensure HSE visibility throughout the life of a project
  • Support the Project relating to supplier HSE management
  • Assist with HSE Inspections and Audits as required

Qualifications:

  • Professional qualifications – College, University Degree, ideally in an HSE segment
  • Good interpersonal skills with the ability to interact at all levels
  • Clear and effective oral and written communications skills. Able to communicate ideas and results to various stakeholders both in written reports and in meetings, presentations etc.
  • Self-motivated, hands-on and proactive
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Ability to prioritise and meet deadlines
  • Ability to contribute to a positive working environment
