We are looking for Installation / Senior Installation Engineers who can be based in our office in Aberdeen, Oslo or Zoetermeer, on a full-time, staff basis
As an Installation / Senior Installation Engineer you will support project teams the development of methods and procedures for installing, removing and transporting offshore foundations and structures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform installation engineering activities such as: rigging design, making method statements and (standard) task plans for offshore installations.
- Prepare and review Offshore Execution Procedures.
- Prepare subcontractor scopes of work and review of subcontractor and client provided procedures.
- Provide guidance to engineers with respect to installation methods
- Plan assigned tasks and keep project team informed on progress and any deviations
- Liaise with those necessary to comply with the task and participate in project meetings.
- Resolve technical queries and recommend solutions to engineering problems related to installation engineering.
- Ensure compliancy with engineering standards and relevant codes.
Capability Profile / Qualifications:
- Minimum Bachelor (HTS) / Master level (Civil Engineering, Offshore Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent).
- Previous working experience as an Installation Engineer or Project Engineer in a project/construction related environment
- Experience in the offshore construction industry is a must.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both spoken and written.
- Team player.
- Flexible and hands-on mentality.
- Willing to travel abroad to sites and sometimes offshore to our vessels.
