OVERVIEW OF ROLE

Subsea 7 is looking for an experienced mechanical/ hydraulic technician for a combined role, maintenance of the internal owned equipment and sporadic offshore trips as Top side supervisor. The equipment being maintained at our base in Dusavik are a wide range spanning from; hydraulic subsea tooling, hydraulic winches, deck cranes, tensioners, lay system, carousels etc.

 

Key responsibilities:

  • Maintenance of Subsea 7’s equipment to a high standard and quality.
  • Reporting of performed maintenance.
  • Top side supervisor offshore (training will be given)

Capability profile / Qualifications:

  • 10 years’ experience maintaining/ fault finding mechanical/hydraulic systems.
  • 5 years operational experience.
  • The candidate should hold one of the following trade certificates (fagbrev): automasjonsmekaniker, industrimekaniker, landbruksmekaniker or similar.
  • Good communications skills in both Norwegian and English
