Your role
GPC&AP is Subsea 7's centre of expertise for the execution of its large-scale projects worldwide.
Reporting to the Comptuer Aided Engineering (CAE) department of Engineering, you will contribute to the development of Data Science projects in collaboration with our Engineers and Data Scientists.
You will have the opportunity to tackle the different aspects of Data Science: from Data Exploration to the implementation of Machine Learning algorithms, including data cleaning and visualisation. You will analyse and report on your results in order to implement Data solutions to improve the efficiency and decision making of engineers. You will test different approaches to find the best model according to its performance.
You will carry out Proof of Concept (PoC), Minimum Viable Product (MVP), until the integration of these tools in our IT environment and our company's Digitalisation roadmap.
As such, your main tasks will be as follows:
- Automate data ingestion processes with a view to its exploitation
- Extract information and propose Machine Learning models
- Presenting results with data visualisation
- Communicate on your analyses and results
Your profile
You are rigorous and like to do a good job. You are detail-oriented and speak professional English, you are looking for a 1 to 3 year work-study program, join us to explore the potential of data science in the Offshore world and bring solutions to our ambitious projects.
You know how to code in Python and have experience with Power BI, you know good development practices such as Git, Azure devops, you are passionate about data and statistics, then you will find your place in our caring team that will help you grow both in terms of skills and within the company.
Location
The position is based in Suresnes (92) and eligible for partial telecommuting.
Duration
12 month work-study contract
