Your role
GPC is Subsea 7's centre of excellence for the execution of its large-scale projects worldwide.
Reporting to the design department, you will be responsible for producing 3D models, fabrication drawings for subsea structures and installation aids as well as sketches for installation procedures.
Your main tasks will be to:
- You will be responsible for the production of a structural steel and piping fabrication drawing (P&Ids / Isometric) using AutoCAD and Inventor software.
- Drawing up a layout plan for underwater piping, approach plans.
- Design and model structures and equipment using Inventor for fabrication drawings and conceptual or preliminary designs.
- Sketching of product installations.
Your profile
You have a Baccalaureate STI2D, a vocational Baccalaureate in industrial production, a vocational Baccalaureate in industrial boiler making and wish to prepare a BTS CPI or a BTS - Production - Metal Architectures: design and production.
The skills required are :
- Interest in working in a team.
- Organisational skills and autonomy.
- Technical communication skills to describe an idea, a principle, a solution (product, process, system).
- Written and oral communication skills in English. (our software and most of our exchanges are in English)
Location
The position is based in Suresnes (92) and eligible for partial telecommuting.
Duration
12 month work-study contract
