About the Role

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Quality Advisor to join our Perth office to act as a focal point/advisor on a project for all quality matters including support to projects management.

The Senior Quality Advisor provides guidance and advice in regard to the effective management of quality assurance and quality controls; delivering quality management and improvement support to all projects and functions within their designated area of responsibility. 

Duties will include the following:

  • Support the Quality Manager to achieve excellence in quality performance / delivery across Subsea 7 Projects;
  • Co-ordinate the proper and effective implementation of the Subsea 7 quality management system;
  • Develop quality management plans and audit plans in accordance with contractual, regulatory and internal Subsea 7 requirements, with the Quality Manager;
  • Coordination, preparation, establishment and implementation of the Project, Quality and administration plans and procedures as well as the inspection & test plans.
  • Direct quality, inspection and project team personnel for the establishment and continuity of quality standards throughout the project; and
  • Ensure that nonconformance reports and supplier performance issues are appropriately reported, recorded and resolved.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will:

  • Have a minimum of 5 years Quality Advisory experience;
  • Experience working within the subsea offshore or related industry, some of which must be in a dedicated Quality position;
  • Experience working within Fabrication industry;
  • Experience with directly interfacing between clients, contractors, suppliers, project team members and external Verification/Validation Bodies;
  • Robust understanding and application of the manufacturing process, testing, inspection, verification and document review associated with Subsea scopes;
  • Experience in a lead auditor role with compliance audits, readiness reviews, health checks and report writing;
  • A broad depth of Quality Management knowledge;
  • A diploma/degree in Engineering/Quality Management is beneficial; and
  • Industry approved auditor training.
