Our Finance Department in the Zoetermeer office is looking for a Jr. Financial Accountant with a passion for solving financial inquiries by gathering, analysing, summarising and interpreting data.
What are your key responsibilities?
- Ensures that correct procedures are being used and that all relevant documents are in place and auditable.
- Support with intercompany recharges and forecast.
- Support with financial reviews of subcontractors and clients.
- Support during interim, internal and year-end audits.
- Support with entity balance sheet reconciliations and monthly analytical reviews.
- Support with monthly closing and all related activities.
- Performing any other ad-hoc duties as, and when, required.
- Working closely with other members of the Finance team.
What are your capabilities and qualifications?
- A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics
- Preferably 0-2 years of relevant experience in a similar position
- Hands-on mentality and motivation to work efficiently
- Deadline-oriented and able to work under pressure
- Has an eye for details/accuracy
- Able to plan workload and remain flexible for certain level of ad hoc tasks
- Strong communicator in English (both spoken and written)
- Advanced Beginner (Outlook & Excel)
- Easily learn IT systems and strive to develop own IT skills
