Offshore Personnel Logistics Coordinator

Location: Istanbul- Turkey

OVERVIEW OF ROLE


The position shall form part of the Project Operations team and the Logistic / Operations Department.
The position is based at Subsea7 Turkish Branch in Istanbul.


The Offshore Personnel Logistic (OPL) role is to co-ordinate the logistic of Subsea7 project personnel, all Subsea7 construction vessels and onshore worksites, involved in the Sakarya Project.


The OPL coordinator is the focal point between the project and all other Subsea7 regions and crewing department sending personnel at the various worksites and/or vessels operating for the Project, including Project's personnel, Offshore crew, Onshore personnel.


The OPL coordinator is the single point of contact "SPOC" in Istanbul for ship's Operations Managers and for Crewing Offshore resources department involved with construction ships, operating on the Sakarya project.


The OPL coordinator is the single point of Contact “SPOC” in Istanbul to the Husbandry nominated agent, for the execution of the Personnel logistics in Turkey.


The OPL coordinator is responsible for executing crew changes logistic for construction vessels and communicating all information to Crewing centres in Aberdeen, Suresnes, Stavanger, Kuala Lumpur etc. and respective vessels coordinators.


This task shall be executed within the out most respect of all Subsea7 procedures, code of ethics and HSES policy.


All personnel are expected to contribute to creating a positive HSEQ culture within Subsea 7 and ensure familiarity with and adherence to local HSEQ codes and practices.

All personnel are also expected to contribute to creating a culture of ethics and integrity within Subsea 7 and ensure familiarity with and adherence to Subsea7 Code of Conduct.


RESPONSIBILITIES


• Assist Subsea7 Group Crewing Department, to develop and issue of specific guidelines for Personnel Logistic applicable for the project in Turkey.
• Implement Project's & Turkish specific logistic personnel procedure and guideline.
• Attending kick off meeting with the Operations / Logistics projects team, in order to identify requirements for personnel logistic.
• Be the single point of contact “SPOC” for organization of personnel logistic activities for Sakarya project in Turkey. (Trips/Visas/Hotel booking/transportation….).
• Issue and follow up with crewing department, Projects, Internal Departments, Offshore Resources and agent the requests for personnel movements, through the travel schedule sheet.
• Be the single point of contact “SPOC” for any personnel arriving, departing, or transiting through Turkey.
• Monitor and guide on evolution of laws, decrees, related to foreigner’s travel, stay in Turkey, including Visa, Work permits, Seamen books
• Ensure nominated husbandry agent in Turkey provides adequate personnel logistic services, including Meet & Greet, transportation, land transport and accommodation for all personnel (project, visitors).
• Ensure that all necessary paper works are available, including Travel schedule, and give necessary written instruction to nominated husbandry agent and/or subcontractors for any personnel logistic activity required for the Project.
• Liaise with each vessel’s coordinator, husbandry agent, and OPL person based in Filyos, for the co-ordination of the crew change activities including the crew boat offshore transportation.
• Issue local work orders for all activities carried out by the nominated husbandry agent.
• Work with project to check volumes, resources in place and report accurately. Follow up and report all commitment related to personnel logistics, through FCD’s, to logistic cost controller.
• Assist and provide permitting officer, any request of documentation related to personnel and/or Vessel permits.
• Expected to contribute to creating a culture of ethics and integrity within Subsea 7 and ensure familiarity with and adherence to our Code of Conduct.

AUTHORITY

• Operate within the Business Code of Conduct
• Operate according to Subsea 7's Management Principles
• Operate according to Turkish Regulations in force at Filyos Port

EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS
• Minimum Two years’ experience in Projects involving logistic of personnel.
• Preferably, experience of Turkish environment.
• Preferably, experience in Oil and Gas business.
• Excellent communications skills.
• Good knowledge of spoken and written English mandatory.
• Very good knowledge of standard office software
• Sound awareness of Health, Safety & Quality
