Communications Specialist - AMEC

Location: Paris- France / Lisbon - Portugal

We are looking for a Communications Specialist with content planning and production experience, a storyteller mastering the skills of text, photo and video.

The role is located in Paris or Lisbon. It is an exciting time to be building the brand of Subsea 7 internally. You will play a key role in the development of the communications plans, working with key stakeholders in the business.



  • Support development of internal communications strategy
  • Deliver specific internal communications plans in line with the strategy
  • Coordinate and engage with Human Resources, Country Managers and other key stakeholders to drive internal communications messaging
  • Brand management – ensure communications activities consistently adhere to employer brand guidelines
  • Provide communications advice and support to Subsea 7 functions
  • Organise and support internal events as necessary
  • Part of the communications team in the regional emergency response team



  • Fluent in verbal and written English
  • Excellent communications skills - written and verbal
  • Experience with production and design of graphic material (Adobe Creative Cloud)
  • Good photo and video skills, including experience with editing and postproductions
  • Has a relevant bachelor's degree from a college or university. Relevant work experience can replace education requirements
  • Good understanding of the energy industry



  • Ability to interface with all levels of the business
  • Ability to work independently and as part of team is essential
  • Creative, autonomous, flexible and adaptable to suit nature of working in communications environment
  • The position calls for a self-motivated individual capable of working under own direction
  • Ability to tailor communications to diverse audiences
  • Ability to work both strategically and operationally.
