OVERVIEW OF ROLE

As a M365 Solutions Adoption and Training Specialist at Subsea 7, the primary focus will be in the support of our global community of super users and citizen developers. M365 is rolled out in Subsea 7, but there is still significant potential benefit from this that can be achieved, as part of our digital transformation to further enhance our end user experience.

Being one of our subject matter experts on M365 you will be responsible for maximising employee awareness, adoption, and satisfaction by promoting and celebrating the adoption of M365 across our global community.

Specialist experience in change management and M365 is key, as is familiarity with the wider Power Platform functionality.

M365 is replacing a number of existing collaborative tools and manual processes so you will need to build an understanding of how users work through close engagement, user stories and scenarios to help guide them to adapt ways of working. You will work closely with the wider M365 Solutions and enterprise applications teams to guide the business in optimal solutions and ways of working.

The specialist will be expected to work largely autonomously but will report directly to the M365 Solutions Manager. In addition, where workload allows, the specialist may also be required to assist on projects in the wider Enterprise Applications team, or to assist in support of the Microsoft 365 platform in general.

 

Specific Key Responsibilities & Activities

  • Lead employee awareness and adoption activities
  • Monitor user satisfaction and adoption levels
  • Support our superuser community, working closely with our lead superuser
  • Identifying company training and adoption requirements for M365 and lead the development and delivery of these toolkits
  • Support and develop governance control to aid it the functionality and adoption of M365
  • Form strong relationships with Microsoft and our partners to input to creating strong technical roadmaps for continuous success.
  • Input to the development of solutions in Office 365
  • Adherence to, and development of, team and department best practices\methodology for support and project delivery
  • Promote global standardised processes within Subsea 7
  • Identify opportunities for Subsea 7 to gain efficiencies from using our IT solutions in smarter ways
  • Manage & co-ordinate testing of new solutions and changes to existing solutions
  • Proactively engage to understand future technology trends and define their relevance and potential to Subsea7

PERSON SPECIFICATION

Essential:

  • Experienced in supporting users with Microsoft 365 products and has a good working knowledge of the Microsoft 365 environment and the administration of it
  • Experience driving technology adoption and reporting on workplace technology adoption
  • Significant past experience of end user change management and training (planning, creation & delivery)
  • Experience creating technology roadmaps and considering business requirements
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Able to source feedback from user community and translate into actionable improvements
  • Highly-developed teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues
  • Must be willing to proactively fill gaps in your technical knowledge and capabilities
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent customer service orientation
  • Able to work well under pressure on own initiative and self-discipline to manage workload
  • Ability to work within a global dynamic support and development team
  • Ability to identify, analyse and solve problems in a logical and effective way, including root cause analysis and actions to solve the problem
  • Good organisational skills and smart working methods

Advantageous:

  • Experience in working in a global organisation with a number of different cultures and types of end user groups e.g. onshore / offshore
  • Knowledge of working with an agile implementation approach
  • Service Delivery experience
  • Knowledge of Azure ecosystem, including DevOps
  • Knowledge of SharePoint migration/management tools (Metalogix, AvePoint)
  • Experience of Cloud Governance tools (AvePoint)
  • Experience of third-party workflow tools (Nintex, K2)
