We are looking for a fulltime FP&A Analyst.

As an FP&A Analyst you will join the Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A)  team within our Finance Department in Zoetermeer to help build and grow our team and provide added value to the business by analysing and forecasting financial and business data.

 

Role within the organization:

The FP&A analyst is part of the Seaway 7 Group FP&A Team reporting into the Group FP&A Manager.

 

Key areas of responsibility

  • Owning the internal monthly reporting process by analysing, preparing and providing valuable consolidated information for group and business unit reporting.
  • Owning and maintaining the departmental budget/forecasting/cost models.
  • Owning and leading the yearly budget process.
  • Supporting the yearly 5-year plan process.
  • Supporting in setting up cash flow, rolling 5yp and capex/investment modelling and other key financial ratios.
  • Work closely together with HR for forecasting and budget control purposes.
  • Maintaining reporting structures in accounting and reporting.
  • Maintaining profit centres/cost centres/work-break-down structures.
  • Initiating and participating in continuous improvement projects.
  • Maintaining good relationships with all relevant stakeholders.
  • Working closely together with other analysts to ensure efficient an effective reporting.
  • Analysing monthly actuals booked on Seaway 7 department cost centres.
  • Providing (ad-hoc/recurring) analytical reviews.

Capability profile / Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Business and Economics/Accountancy/Finance.
  • At least 3-5 years of relevant experience.
  • “Master” in Excel (Power Query / Add-ins) and PowerBI or similar tools
  • Strong analytical/conceptual/communicational skills.
  • Hands-on mentality and motivation to work efficiently.
  • Able to create structure and align monthly processes.
  • Works accurate even under pressure.
  • Proactive in signaling deadlines and take appropriate actions.
  • Develop yourself by taking ownership of tasks/responsibilities.
  • Take pride in delivering a high professional standard.
  • Good command in speaking and writing in English.
