Project HSE Advisor - V.I.E Contract
Location: Lobito - ANGOLA

Within Africa, Middle East & Caspian region (AMEC), we safely execute Subsea and Conventional projects which connect seabed wellhead infrastructures to surface facilities such as platforms and floating production systems. We are actively present in a significant number of countries in Africa, Europe, Caspian Sea, Middle East and Asia.
OVERVIEW OF ROLE
Assists the HSE management and supports Project team on the commitment in HSE matters in accordance with HSE Procedures, Sonamet’s policies and client requirements.
KEY RESPONSABILITIES
Operational activities
- Considered as HSE leader on one or different projects.
- Carries out weekly projects HSE yard inspection.
- Participates in projects HSE meeting.
- Ensures that HSE procedures, Sonamet’s policies and regulations are properly displayed and respected at project work area
- Promotes the safety observations cards awareness.
- Participates on undesired event report investigation.
- Reports any HSE deviation and take necessary corrective measures.
- Performs training to HSE team and Sonamet workers.
- Participates on writing of HSE documents / JSA / HIRA.
- Gives input to improvements of the HSE procedures and guidelines.
- Monitors the sub-contractors compliance with HSE standards and the sub-contractors HSE performance.
- Participates on internal audit
- Assist the HSE Management on HSE legislation compliance.
Visual Inspection
- Ensures that all HSE emergency equipments have been inspected (e.g. Fire extinguisher and eye wash station).
- Ensures that safety signs, safety barriers, safety flash, job safety analysis and Sonamet policies have been displayed on safety notice boards.

PROFILE
- Degree or Engineering in QHSE, HSE
- Safety & Occupational Health
- Nebosh - International Certification I / IOSH
- Accidents Research & Reporting; Crisis Management; Risk/Hazard Management; QHSE Tools; Internal Audit; Safety Management system.
- English and Portuguese.
- Knowledge of HSE legislation.
