Role Profile 
JOB TITLE:     YARD CONTROLLER/EQUIPMENT CONTROLLER
REPORTS TO:     WORKSHOP FOREMAN
LOCATION:     Houston


OVERVIEW OF ROLE

The Yard Controller will work as part of a team of equipment specialists responsible for the maintenance, repair and servicing of a wide range offshore equipment utilized across our global fleet.


SPECIFIC KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & ACTIVITIES 

•    Ensures all Offshore resources equipment returned from Projects / Vessels is stored properly in the correct Yard / Stores locations.
•    Log all returned items through ETM, TRAX, SAP etc.
•    Compile and maintain storage location logs using SAP.
•    Assists in the identification and segregation of equipment based on group ownership.
•    Provide general yard assistance for Workshop daily i.e. forklift duties.
•    Assist with workshop/yard lifting operations.
•    Interface with other Workshop disciplines as and when required.
•    Point of contact for OR Mobile asset groups requesting equipment and spares, to be shipped to other locations and external vendors for repair.
•    Maintain and promote a safe working environment within the workshop to achieve high level of safety.
•    Ensure Workshop Lead is updated on all aspects of assigned jobs.
•    Any other reasonable requests as directed by line manager.

KNOWLEDGE

•    Good general education (essential).
•    Experience of working with equipment control and yard operations.
•    SAP experience.
•    Forklift license up to 16 Tonne.
•    MEWP Trained.
•    WAH Trained.
•    Banksman Slinger (optional).
