Senior Reporting Controller

We are looking for a Senior Reporting Controller who will assist in AMEC region financial and management reporting delivery, in accordance with company policies and external reporting standards.
The role is located in Cairo. It is an exciting time to join our regional Finance team.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist in the region regular reporting and management information requirements: annual budget, monthly and extended forecasts.
- Provides overview to the monthly financial reports and insightful analysis on performance and position
- Ensure deployment of standardized regional reporting structures and systems for accurate and consistent data across the region
- Liaise with project teams to ensure good understanding of projects forecasts, ensuring as such to maintain a strong level of predictability and forecasting at regional level
- Work with business operations, and other key stakeholders to generate requested reporting output. Develop the KPls & dashboards, tools & processes, and ad-hoc analysis.
- Provide financial input to presentations for use at regional management meetings
- Maintain data integrity and further improve Financial reporting.
- Performs variance analysis. Highlight irregularities and investigates material variances.

REQUIREMENTS
- University graduate of a reputable accounting or business school
- 5-8 years of professional experience preferably in the energy or construction industry
- Good knowledge of accounting for construction contracts and Percentage of Completion method
- SAP experience is a plus
- Strong communication (fluency in English is a must)
- Strong financial forecasting, planning, and reporting skills
