The Project Administrator performs a key role in the general administration and co-ordination of personnel and of the Project(s).

All personnel are expected to contribute to creating a positive HSEQ culture within Seaway 7 and ensure familiarity with and adherence to local HSEQ codes and practices.

All personnel are also expected to contribute to creating a culture of ethics and integrity within Seaway 7 and ensure familiarity with and adherence to our Code of Conduct.

 

SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensure compliance with all Company policies, process and procedures.
  • Performs both standard and advanced Project Administration duties.
  • Requires skills in Sharepoint, spreadsheet and word processing software and thorough knowledge of practices and procedures of the functional policy and procedures in general.
  • May use independent judgment in defining methods and procedures to reach an end product for administrative tasks.
  • Anticipates and prepares materials needed by the project team for conference, correspondence, appointments, meetings, telephone calls, etc.
  • Co-ordinates and sets up project meeting rooms.
  • Receives visitors.
  • Make travel arrangements and reservations, schedule appointments, or administer personnel working schedules.
  • Generate and maintain confidential files and reports

 

PERSON SPECIFICATION:

Skills 

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills and fluency in English.
  • High degree of computer literacy (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Sharepoint, etc.).
  • Ability to communicate at all levels, pro-active and open in communication with all parties both internally and externally.
  • Ability to multitask across different projects, flexible in approach and possess the ability to change priorities as and when business or client needs dictate.
  • Ability to prioritise workload and manage time.
  • Self-motivated and can work with minimal direct supervision.
  • Effectively uses time and completes tasks on time through routine planning of own work and organisation of resources.
  • Pro-active and positive to changes and challenges typical of Energy Sector
  • Uphold Seaway 7’s core values and reputation both internally and externally

 

Experience

  • Previous experience of project administration within project teams is essential.
  • High degree of computer literacy (Excel, Word, PowerPoint etc.).
  • Knowledge of SharePoint essential.
