JOB DUTIES:
Responsibilities include the following: ensuring the execution of the logistics and procurement function through transition from transportation and installation support to providing support to EPIC projects; supporting the business needs when company extends its pursuits to renewable work and ensure that the procurement and logistics teams perform in accordance with internal processes and polices; ensuring the reduction of administrative tasks by ensuring that teams use their core competencies; developing and implementing e-procurement; supporting the regional resourcing plan including providing forecasting, recruitment assistance, training support, learning and development, and career development planning; developing strategic relationships with vendors, international freight and shipping agents, vessel owners, terminal/dock operators, trucking companies, and helicopter service providers to ensure effective and cost efficient service; performing regular on-site audits to ensure that the processes of the warehouse, yard and suppliers are in order a well as to determine improvement strategy and providing solutions and estimating project costs/tenders by utilizing market knowledge, and supporting country entry strategies with formal, detailed and robust procurement and logistics plans for development of supply chain, local content, compliance, optimizing import and export mechanisms, shipping guidelines, and vessel logistics procedures.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in supply change management, business, engineering or closely related field and five years’ experience in the job offered or five years’ experience in the subsea industry and supply chain experience including applicable theories, practices and accepted procedures.
