Job Title: Worksite Administrator

Location:  Offshore

OVERVIEW OF ROLE

The Worksite Administrator has the primary responsibility to provide Captain and his team on the vessel with administrative and logistical support to ensuring the smooth running of the vessel.

 

The Worksite Administrator reports directly to Captain.

 

All personnel are expected to contribute to creating a positive HSEQ culture within Subsea 7 and ensure familiarity with and adherence to local HSEQ codes and practices.

 

All personnel are also expected to contribute to creating a culture of ethics and integrity within Subsea 7 and ensure familiarity with and adherence to our Code of Conduct.

 

Specific Key Responsibilities & Activities

  • Administrative / logistical support to be provided for the following tasks onboard the vessel:

           Mobilisations/Demobilisations                Receipt of Materials

           Equipment Lists                                       Equipment Hires

           Certification of equipment/personnel     Customs Paperwork

           Document Control                                  Daily Progress Report

           Daily Meetings                                        Crew Changing

           Competency                                           Stores Ordering

           Waste Management                               Hazardous Waste

           COSHH / SYPOC                                     Shipping Returns

           Offshore Debrief                                    Handover Notes

In carrying out the above duties the Worksite Administrator shall communicate with both vessel personnel and onshore support staff.

  • Undertake training in accordance with the Subsea 7 Competence Assurance Assessment Process and the HSEQ Training Programme

 

  • Build a portfolio of evidence for the Subsea 7 Competence Assurance Assessment Process and present the completed portfolio to the Subsea 7 competence focal point for assessment, verification and audit by client companies

 

  • Any other duties as directed by the Captain.

 

PERSON SPECIFICATION

 

Good inter-personal skills and ability to communicate with all crew onboard and personnel supporting operations onshore.

 

Job specific training as required.

 

The Worksite Administrator should be willing to work flexible shift patterns to meet operational requirements.

 

Administrative / logistics background, with good IT skills and the ability to communicate with both onshore and offshore personnel.

 

The Worksite Administrator should have completed or be working towards completing the e-learning courses as per Subsea 7 HSEQ Training Matrix. 

 

The Worksite Administrator should have experience working onboard DSV or Construction vessel.
